Welcome to the pages of OUT FRONT MAGAZINE. March 2010 marks OUT FRONT MAGAZINE’S 20th Anniversary. Twenty years of bringing you the magazine of issues and entertainment. Over the years of publishing OUT FRONT, we have experienced many ups and downs and turnarounds. But through it all, God! has been good to us and has kept OUT FRONT MAGAZINE in the mix through the loyal support of our readers/subscribers and the support of our advertisers; many of whom have been with us since the inception of OUT FRONT.
Our publication is now published by New Beginnings Publishing Company. The premier issue of OUT FRONT MAGAZINE was published in the spring of 1990. The concept for OUT FRONT originated in Los Angeles, CA by founder and publisher emeritus, Admiral L. LeRoy, Jr. Upon returning to Pensacola, FL after twelve (12) years in Los Angeles, OUT FRONT was born, and established its headquarters in Pensacola and Northwest Florida, where it remains to this day.
We are eternally grateful for all of the support and look forward to the next twenty years if it be God’s will. OUT FRONT MAGAZINE will begin its 20th Anniversary Celebration on March 19 and 20th, 2010 at Yesterday’s at Osceola Restaurant & Lounge in Pensacola, Florida. The celebration will continue throughout the year with music and entertainment gala’s at various venues in the Greater Pensacola/Northwest Florida area. The celebration will culminate with a two-day entertainment junket to VictoyLand Hotel/Casino located in Shorter, AL, just a
hop, skip and jump from Pensacola.
New Beginnings Publishing Company and OUT FRONT MAGAZINE would like to send out our heartfelt THANKS! to everyone for believing in us and staying with us through this 20 year journey. And as always OUT FRONT MAGAZINE will continue to strive in our commitment to give our readers the best coverage of information about issues, events and entertainment that affect the African-American experience.
